Who We Are
Student Holdings NFP (SH), formerly Northwestern Student Holdings (NSH), is a student-run holdings company that funds and manages a portfolio of 4 businesses serving the Northwestern and Evanston communities.
SH companies offer a myriad of services, including custom T-shirt printing, tutoring, and academic support, dorm move-in supplies and assistance, and full laundry service. Together, SH companies employ more than 60 Northwestern students and had nearly $100,000 in revenue last year.
SH also strives to continually grow its current companies as well as maintain an environment of entrepreneurship and innovation by providing its members and interested Northwestern students a continuous platform to propose and execute new business ideas.
Through the challenges and thrills of running a student-run business, SH members have a chance to experience entrepreneurship, business, and unparalleled learning opportunities that come to define their college experience at Northwestern.
Mission Statement
Student Holdings provides educational, hands-on business experiences to Northwestern University undergraduate students by giving them the opportunity to launch, operate, and grow services which provide goods and services to the Northwestern University, Evanston and Chicago communities. Student Holdings also provides jobs and work experiences to Northwestern University students.
